Phoenix Roleplaying was founded in August 2010 by former members of AJJE Games, a Play By Post roleplaying network, after their mass resignation from the club in July 2010. The club was and is very much a reaction to perceived injustices in AJJE, much in the way that AJJE itself formed by members of another site, STF.
The club is home to a number of play by post sims, including those based on Firefly, Star Trek, Star Wars, and many other scifi, fantasy, and period role playing settings.
